Kiwi Yogurt Review

Hooly there is nothing I love more then ice cream and frozen yogurt that tastes just like it and with less then half of the calories you can be sure I am down to dig in! My girl Morgs dragged me down to the new opening of the Kiwi Yogurt in downtown State College ( as if she had to physically carry me in) and to much of my surprise they had sooo many different types I was beyond pumped to try them all! They had a super sweet girl outside who asked us if we wanted to try it (umm...DUH we're in!) The rest was history, from red velvet cake to vanilla cheesecake swirled with strawberry, we were more than ready to indulge in making our own creations! BOO YEAH! I went with a peanut butter chocolate swirled twist of nothing short of amazingness in a cup. I tossed in some cookie dough bites for obvious reasons (they're soooo good) , pretzels for a crunch, and oreo crumbles for a mix that left my bowl empty in the 6 minute ride to the mall after!

ROADTRIP

Sooo last week when the weather was absolutely fabulous... I was leaving class and decided you know what today is THE perfect day for a drive...but where to? Well where else but my favorite Beauty store...Ulta!! Lucky for me its only a short drive up 99 to our neighboring Altoona. The ride was absolutely gorgeous and of course I cranked up my radio, windows down...rocking out to the B! I swear it really is the soundtrack to my life...and it was perfect timing because right when our signal went out I picked up Hot 92 and it was playing the exact song I was just listening to on the B...then the B came back in ...went out and once again the same song "FORGET YOU"...was on...it is amazing how much music truly rules my life.

Sometimes you just need to take a drive/roadtrip maybe not necessarily to get away but just to remember that there is life outside the bubble you live in.


So I like to drive to Altoona once every month or two to $plurge on make-up and other beauty essentials...this time when I say $plurge I really went all out! I bought this badass Lorac eye shadow palette which has turned into my new favorite go to! It has the basic golds/whites along with two other spots ...green & black ..in looove with this! Got the usual Baremineral basics, Cargo bronzer to darken up my super light skin ( neeeed to hit the tanning bed) , and Benefit Bad Girl mascara. Yes I bought this and the liner because it was called "Bad Girl".

After making my hour long adventure through Ulta I haaave to stop at the best Sheetz in all of PA ( duuuh it was founded in Altoona!) where they have the one and only creamery with the one and only twisty's!!! mmmmm! These rock and despite having to burst I still went through the drive-thru ...just because.

All in all I would say it was successful.

After a wild night on the South side, I was watching this super old guy at breakfast just sit at Bruggers while all the hungover youngsters rolled in for a hopeful attempt at curing or atleast minimize their hangovers. The old man wore a typical Veteran cap graced with the symbols o the country he probably fought in multiple wars for: an eagle and a waving American flag. He had a stack of brown eco-friendly napkins sprawled across his arm space assuming he would spill. A few other older men joined him and whenever an older female popped in all the guys would notice and talk to her like they'd been friends for years. I was hoping they were all pimping... but it made me realize how intelligent the old man and the rest of his gang of coffee cranky grandpas probably were just by their mere everyday experiences. I NEEED to find myself a crew of old dudes that wanna chill with me...can you imaaaagine the storiess!?!?! Since my crrazy grandpas filled with tales of bullshit are no longer here I decided that it should be one of my new years resolutions...so I am on the hunt for a group of old geisers willing to talk to an energetic 21 and almost a half year-old to share their memories hopefully full of drama, drinking, and sex. haha okay that can be left out...naaasty!
