So it is your typical Thursday evening in State College...and the Phillies won last night.
Hoots and hollers screech the downtown streets by the dollar a slice pizza joints. Lucky for me I live right in between them!
As I look out my window at the apartment building across the way, people are dancing on tables and just living the dream as I like to say!
So what am I stuck doing?
...sick on the couch doing work...enough said.
Good thing Forgetting Sarah Marshall is on!

Hey nice to see ya blog...double edge sword
Sooo it has been awhile since I have blogged.. but I want to get back into it.
Life is all about the choices you make and I truly believe there is a reason for everything and probably a reason you made that choice. Why can't we have two things at once? Why do people grow apart? Why are there people screaming outside our window?
Well atleast I can answer the last question... Phillies are playing and I live in downtown State College. It is quite the interesting mix of people here. Centre County, PA is a mut. A breed of those from the 412 Pittsburgh Steel City... to those on that East side repping Philly...with a blend of 814 in between. I grew up in a Pittsburgh sports household so I have not been too excited to hear horns and chants every other day the Phillies have been playing this week. It is kind of funny though at times because you can hear the backlash from the Pittsburgh fans cursing from the streets.
I'll attempt those first two questions...
Something my friends and I always seem to find ourselves in the classic situation of wanting two things at once. Like tonight I really wanted to go to the gym, but my body was aching from going the day before...so then I really wanted to go get some good food...but yet I didn't want to eat something really bad because I didn't go to the gym. Can you take a guess what we did?
...yep food it was! Fresh Harvest panini and since it just perfectly has to be sitting next to insomnia cookies... we got a giant cookie ice cream samich...heck yesss was that thing good! I think my roommate had something in her side of the cookie...let's just say she has been singing every phrase she has said the last hour...
The real situation of having two things at once that I want to talk about is being a relationship and just wantin to be a single. I can pretty much say that almost everyone I know at the moment is going through this... what I have to say to is if you really want it you will have it. So if you really want to be in your relationship then go ahead have it...just remember if you try to have your cake and eat it too you might end up with a repeat of your 1st birthday...
Life is such a double-edge sword. I swear I heard that phrase being said everyday this summer...
So why do people go apart? I think it is human nature honestly...you give and you get...what you put into a relationship may not be what you get out of it...but if you don't put anything into it...you will have nothing.
